To all my colleges out there, we all know what it’s like to be worked off our feet and we also know all the stresses that exist in and around us.

Shiatsu is a Japanese form of bodywork which uses touch as its primary tool for helping the healing process begin in the receivers body.

If you have been in this game for many years you probably have your own ways of protecting yourself from some of the heaviness that we treat. Saying that, we all have things going on in our lives that pull us down and tire us out.

We are constantly recommending our services to everybody all the time, telling them everybody needs a massage, shiatsu, acupuncture, etc.

How often do you “treat” yourself?

I know in my personal practice, wherever I find it’s getting tough and I am feeling tired, in some “universal way” I am sure my clients feel this too. In these times I see my schedule opens up and I don’t have as many clients. Over the years I have seen the pattern repeat itself over and over and over again.

When I make that decision to “treat myself”, I make that call, book my session and after just that 1 session my calendar starts to fill up again, as if the Universe is telling everybody that I am ready and full of energy to treat my clients again.

If we recommend our services to the world, then we really have to practice what we preach.

If you have never tried shiatsu before, I really recommend trying it.
